Who we are
The Gilded Loom is a small shop selling handmade amigurumi. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email us at dana@thegildedloom.com.
What we collect
When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, and shipping address. If you create an account, we store your account details so you can sign in again.
We also collect anonymous usage statistics, such as which pages are viewed, to help us understand how the shop is used.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and purchases. Outside Japan, it only sets cookies after you accept in the cookie banner; you can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Before you accept, the analytics script may send anonymous, cookieless measurements that cannot identify you.
Payments
Card details are entered directly into a secure form provided by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card number and other payment details never touch our servers.
Social login
If you choose to sign in with Google, LINE, or Apple, that provider shares your name and email address with us so we can create or match your account.
How long we keep data
We keep order records for as long as required by Japanese tax law. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask us to see or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time by emailing dana@thegildedloom.com.
